Michael Freeman opened this law office in 2013 to provide practical and timely advice to individuals, families, and business clients. Prior to opening the firm, Michael was the chief legal officer for the insurance subsidiaries of International Financial Group, Associate General Counsel for Travelers Insurance, and a managing attorney in the property casualty claim department of the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company. He has extensive experience in corporate governance, regulatory matters, internal investigations, contract negotiations, coverage and bad faith litigation.

Motivated by his passion for music, Michael has represented artists such as Parsonsfield, Eilen Jewell, The Meadows Brothers, Wise Old Moon, Enter The Haggis, and Jubilee Riots. He has also negotiated contracts for major rock concerts and managed local community events.

Michael received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law and his B.A in Political Science from Providence College. He is admitted to practice in the states of Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Secretary Sports And Entertainment Section, Americana Music Association and Folk Alliance International.
